Real Families, Real Stories

"We love Faithful Scholars! We were with them for 3 years and received a lot of great counsel as we went from middle to high school. Highly recommend Katie and her team as a 3rd party option and resource."

β€” Misti J.

"I had no idea where to begin when I started homeschooling & they gently guided me down the right path. My daughter is a senior now and I still rely on FS knowledge, advice, & direction. It's also a wonderful community of parents."

β€” Elizabeth W.

"Katie helps us receive credit for all the learning and to meet state requirements in a way that is useful to our kids. She responds quickly and personally. We might have been discouraged away from homeschooling our high schoolers were it not for you!"

β€” Steve K.

SC Homeschool Law & By-Laws

We meet your legal requirements and support the least restrictive homeschool environment.

SC Homeschool Law

Faithful Scholars helps you navigate South Carolina homeschool law (Section 59-65-47) with a lawyer on retainer for over 20 years. SC laws align with natural homeschooling methods. Associations must have at least 50 members and meet minimum standards: parent qualification (high school diploma or GED), 180-day instructional year, curriculum in core areas, and records (plan book, portfolio, semi-annual progress) kept at home. We report student numbers and grade levels to districts by January 30th each year.
